Mauro Cavallaro won the silver medal in long jump and bronze in the triple jump.
Concluded at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome the Italian Masters Athletics Championships 2010 which saw the participation of more than 1200 athletes representing all regions of Italy. Three days of intense racing results showed good technical level of athletes participating. Attending the sporting event Prof. Mauro Cavallaro professor of Physical Education ITIS "E. Majorana Milazzo, an athlete with great experience, took part in the long jump competitions for Class MM 50 winning 2nd place with the measurement of 5.23 meters. In the triple jump was ranked in third place with the measure of 11.43 meters. With regard to the provision in the long jump, Prof. Cavallaro said he regretted having missed the Italian title because of muscular problems but has promised to win a medal at the forthcoming European Championships Gent (Belgium) in March 2011.
